In a recent post on X, Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra and Mahindra, shared a video from The Better India video praising the innovative work of IIT-Delhi graduates Aman Rai, Anurag Dani, Rohit Patel, and Amal George, who co-founded Aroleap X. This startup has developed a groundbreaking smart, wall-mounted gym equipment that seamlessly fits into even the tiniest flats.
Aroleap X was born out of the founders’ shared passion for fitness and technology. After diligently creating 15 prototypes, they finally launched a product tailored to meet modern fitness needs. The machine offers over 150 exercises, effectively targeting all major muscle groups. Its standout feature is the incorporation of AI technology, which powers training sessions that monitor user progress in real time, offering personalised workout routines tailored to individual goals.
This innovative approach has caught the attention of prominent figures in the tech industry, with Zerodha founder Nithin Kamath stepping in as an angel investor in Shark Tank. Since its launch, Aroleap X has gained significant traction, selling over 300 units across 20 cities, achieving a total turnover of Rs 3.5 crore.
The founders emphasise their mission, “We want to make fitness simple and accessible.” This ethos is reflected in Aroleap X’s design, which merges principles of mechanical engineering with physical therapy, ensuring that users can engage in effective workouts regardless of their living space limitations.
The growing popularity of Aroleap X highlights a shift in how people approach fitness in urban settings, providing an intelligent and practical solution that caters to the demands of modern lifestyles. With their commitment to innovation and user experience, the IIT graduates are well on their way to transforming the fitness landscape, making it easier for everyone to prioritise their health and well-being, no matter where they live.
